ATHOSCRAFT SEASON 6 Mod Disclosure

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all looking forward to the start of Season 6 as much as I am.

In accordance with the results of the mods vote (Deluxe package) the leadership team has been discussing options that we can offer to the community with regards to mods, whilst still remaining considerate to those who still did not wish to be overwhelmed with new mods.

There have been a number of suggestions all proposed by the membership that we have investigated, and we believe that we have come up with a combination of mods that work well alongside Vanilla game-play, make sense within the environment in which we find ourselves, and don’t stretch the imagination too far (meaning that everything looks good, and makes sense)

After careful selection, Tony and I have gone through the mods with a fine-tooth comb: trying to make sure that they all work nearly flawlessly, to start communication channels with the mod developers to make sure that we can find support, as well as to add a few little hot-fixes of my own that help to tie all the mods in together with each other in ways that make sense. I’ve also shuffled around the visibility of any new item recipes so that they are not overwhelmingly present for those less inclined to use them.

• Our own Glass, item frames, and Athos Coin modpacks, make a return as-is
  
• Nico's Lamps and Lanterns returns, (though patched to remove the old copper lamps, and add some updated wood variants)
  
• FoxyNoTail’s Armour Stands only (no markers as they’re broken anyway), Miniblocks, Mob Heads, and Player Avatars. The latter two of which have been cunningly adjusted by Tony to allow both stacking AND wearing
  
• Abandoned & Ruined Structures, returning from S5. Loot tables have been fixed so that the loot containers work, and I have added some special Athos-specific loot into some of those tables
  
• Farmers Delight, which adds some interesting new food farming items, and cooking methods to give a bit of variety to the farmers among us. You will find some foods even better than golden carrots and cooked steak!
  
• Medieval Furniture & MrCrayFish Furniture: a combination of medieval and modern tasteful furniture to enhance vanilla game-play and decorations around your builds.
  
• Mailboxes: A mail delivery system, that allows us to send mail to our neighbours.
  
• Wandering Traders and AthosTraders have combined forces to teach each other the tricks of their trade, for new and interesting trade loot options
  
• One or two little fun additions of our own that you’ll find out about in due course.
